Diceros Asset Management, LLC was founded in 2008 by Joel C. Johnson in Austin, Texas. Mr. Johnson started his career in the energy industry as a roustabout at age 14 in the Permian Basin of West Texas (Midland, Texas). Mr. Johnson has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of oil and gas operations.
Through our 30 years of experience in the oil patch, in the boardroom, investing in wells, and in reception of royalty wealth, we understand what it’s like to be an owner and what it’s like to run an oil company. Diceros was founded based on the need for clarity, guidance, and protection for mineral, royalty, and working interest owners in the energy industry.
